JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. (JKIT) is an India-based company engaged in the business of manufacturing of automotive tires, tubes and flaps. As of March 31, 2011, the Company had an installed capacity of 9.861 million automotive tires and 1.382 million automotive tubes. The Companys manufacturing plants are located at five centers, which include Jaykaygram, Rajasthan; Banmore, Madhya Pradesh; Mysore Plant I , Karnataka; Mysore Plant II, Karnataka, and Mysore Plant III, Karnataka. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011, the Company produced 8.598 millions of automotive tires; 5.462 millions of automotive tubes, and 2.447 millions of automotive flaps. The Company`s products are marketed under the JK Tyre and Vikrant brands.
