The Election Commission has announced the poll dates for Sikkim. The state of Sikkim will go to polls on April 19, 2024 simultaneously with the first phase of general elections 2024.

The state of Sikkim is governed by chief minister Prem Singh Tamang from the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha. The upcoming Sikkim Assembly Elections in 2024 will elect 32 members for the Legislative Assembly.
The tenure of Sikkim assembly will end on 2 June, 2024 and the state will vote for its new assembly with 32 seats on April 19, 2024. The counting of votes will be on June 4 along with the counting of votes for general elections 2024.
